Many times I ask people what colour are the hills just there, people always say green as thats the colour of grass close up or most of the time grey. Its not until they actually spend time to look do they see the colour. My good friend aid once was a good example, he also gave plein air painting a go and found so hard. I think all people should give painting outdoors a go to realise what is around them.

I love it when you do that purple! because without realizing until looking closer at the hills itself the shading is the colour purple x
