British Camp setting sun
13cm x 19cm, oil on millboard

As the sun set behind the Malverns I was fighting flies attacking my head and wasn't to keen on the bass coming from the Big Chill festival with invades Malvern each year with thousands of hippies. Good view tho.

Many thanks for the comment Rob. This time of year flies can be such a pain, trying to hit them just leads to paint all over your face, flies on the painting, not a good look! Speak soon.

Nice painterly expressive one this, like it, love the description of those trees with the dark blues and green lights. As for the flies...i too have been driven to near madness by them, especially when painting by water or in a cow field, though many of them meet a sticky end on my canvas!
