Morning light
13cm x 19cm, oil on millboard

I was kindly commissioned to paint at a wedding today in which I did 4 pochades.

David and Annas Wedding was set in the Cotswolds in the most idealic church and manor house.

This first pochade was of Elkstone Church at 8am just as the fog was lifting, the ground was wet and I could hear the sound of bees flying around.

Thanks Winnie, was a wet damp morning this one. An amazing church frm 1400s so I been told. You could see all the tool marks on the stone when the people shaped the stone, amazing place.
