Hey Jilly, thanks for your kind words. Nice to have comments on the pochades. This one was done sat in about 2inches of snow with sleet hitting my face while painting. Amazing light. Hope your well.x

This one makes me feel homesick, like the kind of scene you looked out at with your nose pressed against the glass when you were little, cosy inside, sleety outside.
As a painting its very impressionistic and plein air, conjures up the british winter perfectly.
